Personally still feel humble that I get to be part of this. Thank You God for His blessings

Day 319 of 2023
I was spring cleaning my room recently and I found this scribble sheet. If you recognize it, it’s my song - HOME
Finding
this reminds me that I actually wrote this back in 2011 on my
scrapbook. In fact, I used to write all of my songs on scrapbooks and
papers before I move towards digital.
I am grateful that this song became a reality in 2020, thanks to @joeloy_my and it is part of #tljournalEP
Looking
at this piece of paper reminds me the journey of songwriting. Sometimes
some songs get recorded immediately and get out fast for everyone to
enjoy. But sometimes too, some songs takes years before it gets
recorded.
I am always grateful to have the opportunity to share the songs that I wrote. Hopefully more to come in coming years.

UK trip
It's been one week plus since I came back from that 3 weeks break at UK.
It took me a week to get over the jet-lag. It's not fun when you have to work on that day, especially the anxiety of wanting to get enough rest builds.
I just wanna share some observation I made..
1) People here love their pet dogs! I seen a lot of them walking their dogs everywhere and what amazes me is some of them are so huge!
2) The old folks are quite well taken care of, because at some places, I seen them traveling in motor seats (like Professor X-kinda thing).
3) Edinburgh is so beautiful especially the city and the hills. No wonder Hollywood comes here to shoot.
4) Old Trafford
So, I have finally ticked off an item on my bucket list - to be at Old Trafford and watch a match.
Any football fan would love to make a pilgrimage journey to their beloved football team.
I was there (with my wife) to watch MU take on Rochdale in the League Cup tie. The match ended 1-1 and MU progress via penalty kicks.
After reading and watching the football atmosphere since the moment I love football, to be here to experience it in person definitely change my life perspective. Football is really a community thing here for the British and I am really amazed to see the support from the crowd (despite all the sticks that OGS have been getting for their indifference form).
Definitely the highlight of my UK trip.

5) I enjoyed Liverpool (city only, i must emphasize!) .. the cathedral there is life-changing experience. Newcastle was wonderful too although it's a small town.
6) I understand why the hype about London. So much happening there.
7) Lots of Asians though everywhere I go. Mostly Koreans or China tourist.
8) the London train lines... just wow. You gotta understand how the system works. Once you get the idea, all is well
9) I have met some helpful Brits which makes it homely although some have thick accent which made it hard for me to catch it immediately.
10) I saw homeless people in some cities I've been. My heart breaks a bit when I think how these people have to cope with the cold and rainy weather. But in some places, I saw people care for them by offering food while there were one or two unpleasant experience where they just unashamedly ask for help.

Honestly I miss a lot of things about UK even though the windy condition can be challenging. Also, holiday is a luxury sometimes, when you consider the energy and money spent.
That's some of the thoughts I would wanna share. Definitely I have a lot more to say if you ask me in person!

birthday post 2019
I came to a point of my life where I believe each day that I have is indeed grace from God.
It’s hard to describe or to go into details of the kind of battles I face each day. All the behind the scenes to be a man I am today. Yes, each one of us have our own battles to face so I just want to say if you made it this far, keep fighting!! We never know how life will transpire on next day, or 10 years from now or 50 years now.. but learn to treasure it everyday and every moment. Be kind to others. Also, you are never too late to dream again, you are never too late to fight on. When you look back, you will then realize how life changes so much.
Thank you to everyone who have been there for me. Thank you for telling me what I mean to you. Thank you for telling me how the sermons speak to you. Thank you for telling me how the songs moved you. Thank you for your friendship. thank you for partnership in ministry. Thank you for all the fun. Thank you for your patience. Thank you all for everything

towards 2019
2018
Well..
There were days where I had many reasons to rejoice..
There were days where I wished I just leave everything I am doing..
There were days where I am thankful for everything..
There were days where I wished that I don’t need to wakeup..
There were days where I am happy and proud with what I achieve..
There were days where there were many regrets..
If you are like me - who have survived 2018 - congrats!! Another year is coming, I believe what we went through can only make us better. At the end of the day, there are many reasons to celebrate in life, even in the midst of struggles.
Recently, a wise man said struggling is nature’s way to strengthen us. Perhaps there is some wisdom there.
Throughout 2018, there's a lot of lessons from feedback and comments received about my sharing and music. I really want to thank all of you for your honesty. One of the many reasons I am looking forward to 2019 is that there's plenty more of things to share - stories, lessons, music and life itself.
While there are plenty reasons to look forward in 2019, I am just stepping towards it with hope that God will guide me through it.
Thank you to everyone out there for making 2018 memorable and being a blessing to me. I do sincerely apologies for any shortcomings in me.

Here is another recording project I was involved in this year.
If you need a song to get you through your Monday blues and sets your mood for Christmas, this song is for you. Truly for you!!
A Christmas tune with the folks of Rhema Radio, which brought at least
14 churches together for this epic song - talents that ranges from
singing to dance to video editing and even, painting.
It's a huge honour and privilege to part of something awesome like this, to reflect the unity in Christ while representing FCC. Personally, I feel blessed to be part of this - catching up with friends (like Joe, Jason Ding, Alex Martin and Alex the painter) while making new friends. Even recording this song and the video was a wonderful experience.
So.... you know the drill..... watch it, ENJOY it, SHARE it (as much as you can!)

2nd anniversary
When you are in a relationship or married, i am sure you will slowly understand what I mean.
How time flies. Just like that, we are into our second anniversary.
Sometimes it feels it’s more than two years, sometimes it feels as though our wedding was yesterday. Well, maybe love makes us forget about time.
This year is slightly difficult to have an elaborate celebration because so many things happening around us. I guess we have everyday and a lifetime ahead to celebrate. In fact, everyday with each other is a celebration itself.
My wife is amazing for being patience with my emotions, stresses and puns. Thank you for loving me and supporting me in everything. There’s a lot ahead for us and I am sure we can make it through together.

A lot of things just fall into place nicely, a testimony that God always takes care of those who trust Him, because prior to today, I wrestle with a lot of personal thoughts. Anyway, whatever happens in the future, should you have feedback, testimonies and thoughts about just now, just DM/PM. It would be helpful, seriously.
And oh, hope you all like the new song i debuted just now. I actually wrote it when i was still in Sabah few years ago, just that I didn’t have the chance to share it. I guess it’s God’s timing that i am able to do it this year, with the help of timlimproject band who made it sound superb. Credit to them.
Anyway, like I said in my previous status, 29th September has plenty of reasons to give thanks for. Cheers to God and all of you who make it all possible.
Just so you know too, I am still a MU fan.

Thanks to those who remembered, thanks to those who showered me with social media wishes and personal messages. Thanks for the cakes as well, this year I received a lot of them!
Thanking God for His faithfulness for my life so far and only He knows what’s ahead.
To be honest, there are times I feel I am carrying a lot of burdens but that doesn’t stop me from giving up on the visions and dreams that being deposited in my heart. Whatever happens, i believe the best is yet to come and it will come in His beautiful timing.
