I’ve watched this docu-series.. man.. it's good BTS of WWE, in fact this is one of the best they have done. And also showing a different side of Mark Calaway aka #Undertaker, the passion and commitment he puts in. Massive respect for him.

In tv shows, you never know when he will appear again but meanwhile, hope he enjoys the rest he deserves.

What a man. Thanks for the memories.

#TL2020moviewatch : JLDark:Apokolips War

With MCO and pandemic around, looks like watching in cinema gonna take some time.

Anyway, let's review this the supposed-final JL cartoon movie saga - Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.

These animation movie does it again, pushing as far as they can. This time with dark & twisted tales that leave you grasping. It's basically feels like watching Avengers:Endgame but with violence and gory scenes.

The ending to bring down the curtain.. well, when you watch, not surprise that they go with that idea...

Joel is one of the worship leaders that have huge influence on me. What draws me to him is because of his raw passion and emotions when he writes and leads.

When I listened to this interview, it really resonates with me. It hit me hard too because sometimes I can relate what he said especially in days when you feel you hit rockbottom. Not a lot of people can recognize what is going on behind the scene but truth is, everyone else is just human as well.

Whether you are a creativity person in the secular field or someone serving in ministry (full time or not), I hope this interview make sense to you.

PS : his middle name is also the same name as me, that's why I can relate?

FCC songlist updated!

I have updated this a bit with some songs that we FCC English worship team often lead.. and some songs we could do within these few months..

Anyway, I will update this every quarter of the year.. just so you know!

Honoured to call these folks champs, friends and partners in kingdom of God. I am always blessed by their heart and passion for God in the area of worship/music.

I still remember years ago, someone in my hometown church gave me the "SoldOut" album as Christmas present and I remember watching the dvds & listening to the songs in there.. I think this is where I fell in love with you Frenniel Batiancila.. hahaha... jk jk jk...

I also have that "Changed" album too, though I can't remember how I got my hands on it...
On the serious note, their albums is one of those local Christian albums that inspired me to write songs that is birthed for the local church and community. Many years on, a lot of them in there are wonderful friends of mine and by God's grace, I wrote some songs with them especially one particular song which featured in their latest album.

God is amazing, isn't it.. only He can come out with such scripts...

Looking forward to hear more songs from them and partnering with them

the light from Black Lightning

Usually I don't really give half-a-season kind of reviews but I just wanna share my thoughts on the latest CW entry which is #BlackLightning

To be honest, I enjoyed the series so far. Not too heavy as Arrow or too emotional as Flash. While there's meta-powers to deal with, the series is still grounded on family oriented stuff and dealing with life issues.

Recent episode was one of the best. You can read about it here. *spoiler alert*

You may say it's a cultural thing (like Black Panther or Luke Cage-kind of vibe) but personally, that is not an issue for me because I just enjoy the story as it is. Perhaps it's just me, I enjoyed watching different backgrounds and setting. 

At some point it got slightly draggy and sometimes I am a bit annoyed with the overused of hip-hop music at the background to match with its cultural setting, so I hope that they can balance that out a bit.

I would love #BlackLightning to meet the other CW heroes someday but at this point, the series by itself is quite impressive n doesn't need to ride on its CW hero-siblings. so ya, kinda understand that the producer wouldn't confirm which universe the story take place in.

Meanwhile, let's see how this series goes. CW recently renewed their whole superheroes lineup, so there's a guarantee of 2nd season already.

Why Easter?
