Your grace is enough

I recently sang this song written by Matt Maher (and also was carried by Chris Tomlin) in the church service that entitled Your Grace is Enough.

The weekend, few things come to mind and really need lots of prayers and thoughtful thinking. Hard for me to type it all here in this hour because I m either full of words or lost of them describing the feeling that at the end of all, I know it's through God's grace that we are where we are today.

The lyrics goes like this..

Great is Your faithfulness oh God
You wrestle with the sinner's restless heart
You lead us by still waters and to mercy
And nothing can keep us apart

So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God

Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me

Great is Your love and justice God of Jacob
You use the weak to lead the strong
You lead us in the song of Your salvation
And all Your people sing along

So remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God

Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me (x2)

remember Your people
Remember Your children
Remember Your promise
Oh God

Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough
Your grace is enough for me

Your grace is enough
Heaven reaches out to us
Your grace is enough for me
God i see your grace is enough
I'm covered in your love
Your grace is enough for me

I find the pre-chorus lyrics very profound. I learn from my staff team devotion before that, in our prayers, we can always proclaim God's promises in our lives. That reminds me of Matthew 7:11 -"If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him.."

Upon reading that and singing about promises and grace, sometimes I really taken aback to think how God can love me so much and led so far. There are many times I felt I m not worthy to be where I am but sometimes God reminds me of His grace and mercy. Sometimes, His love just amazes me.

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9

That's nothing much to say but indeed, Your grace is enough Lord.
