at the west diocese worship conference...

Here is my past few days' account..

I accompanied 45 FCC folks to Ipoh..to attend the West Diocesean Worship Conference, organized by my hometown church, StPeter's Church.

Before that, I have a testimony here...

When my friends in Ipoh gave me the forms, i told myself if i can bring 2 people down, i be happy. Turnout i brought nearly everyone in the FCC worship team down. Amazing. You just cant doubt God's power. =)

Anyway, I travelled with Pastor Khee Vun on Weds at 2pm and reach Ipohed at 4.30pm. Around 5pm..we had this famous Ipoh stuff...

ah...tauke ayam..

Then meeting up with a few cars from KL n guide them around Ipoh...

imagine 45 people..equals 8 cars including an Unser and a van...so that explains how big the FCC contigent is...and it's not easy to navigate such a group on road..

Conference was good. I enjoyed the workshop coz i learned alot, even though some stuff taught might seems familiar but it was good to like remind ourselves and refresh ourselves. And the workshop had good bibical refences and all which is good.

I be honest to say that i was surpised SPC worship team didnt take the worship sessions fully but let the speaker lead the band. And even so, I thought they will be singing some of his songs, I heard he made albums..but no, we sang the usual songs we sing, but different arrangements/beats..in the end, the SPC worship team only did last song fully..aiks 

It's crazy to think that like nearly every 2 hours, we have makan time. From 8am to 4pm. Nan daiyo.

As for FCC gang, we enjoyed alot..crack alots of jokes(as always).

It was good also for me as i catchup on afew friends here in Ipoh..

While the majority of the group went back on Thurs nite, Desmond and Flora overnite at my house. Then on Friday, I took them for more Ipoh food. Dim sum for breakfast and take them around to buy food...before they left around 12pm..

Overall, the conference was good..hope the next one would be exciting..

In short, my Ipoh time was alrite but tiring at times..
