Sabbatical

After working since 2008 and holding my pastoral license for 7 years (since 2016), I have decided to take a sabbatical for 2 months.

This have been in my mind for a long time and I am thankful that my church have graciously allowed me to do so.

I will be taking those 2 months to seek what’s next for me in years to come.

There’s a lot for me to digest, from the good to the bitter experiences that have accumulated over the years.

But it’s God’s grace somehow kept me going on.. and more importantly, alive.

All in all, there’s a lot to give thanks while there’s a lot to consider on what is ahead of me.

Please remember me in your prayers during this time of rest.

I just wanna take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has journeyed with me throughout my time serving in church, over the years.

Shout out as well to those who have sent me their well-wishes.

Just wanna say that I am blessed that I am surrounded by friends whom I trusted a lot, who gave me sound wisdom and counsel during this season.

Probably in this 2 months, I’ll just travel around locally and will be visiting friends who have extended their invitation to visit them.

Just to clarify that my wife still has to work in her office so we have to make do with our situation and with what we have.

At the same time, music is certainly close to my heart and so, I will take some time to explore where this can take me. If anyone wanna gimme some gig, I am happy to take some! 😃

Otherwise, to quote a friend who told me recently, perhaps it’s good just to do “nothing” – I guess there’s some truth in that. Haha.

Anyway, if ever you want to talk to me about plans or just catching up and having coffee, you are always welcome.

Praying that everyone will have a safe and wonderful CNY.

See you all around.

Cheers.
