UEL champ!

UEFA CHAMPS!

Make it loud yo!

I know MU have its critics and all, well, nothing's perfect but let's celebrate the good things.

Here's what you need to know and here's one too...

I know this is annoying to non-football and MU-haters, but hahaha.. that's life for you. Reality hits you sometimes. Sometimes things in life works and doesn't work for some people.

I wokeup to watch the match and it's one of those matches worth waking up to. MU didn't disappoint. Yes, they might be up against a young team Ajax (credit to them for pressing and making the final interesting) but you can say the team performed when it matters. It's Progba's better matches (makes his fee worth while), Herrera's relentless work rate, Fellaini performs when it mattered and defensively we are strong (Romero and the 4 defenders)

You can see how much this win means to Mourinho and the team after the final whistle went. Alright, it's not as hyped as the Champions' League final but a final is a final and it deserves some respect.

Everyone hope that this will roll out the good times in Manchester United. That's a lot to look forward to next season.. starting with transfer market business onwards.

Well done Mourinho and Manchester United. Let's march on!

For humanity and sentiment sake, this win is what the city needed especially what happen in Manchester recently.

Let me close with this post I saw on FB. Cheers and glory glory Manchester United.

*******************************************

EPL Prize Money for LuckySpot6 -142 million
UEL Prize Money for Champions – 23million

SO? MANCHESTER UNITED ONLY MADE MONEY?
****************************************
Yes, the spending has been covered, but what about football?
What changed compared to before the season starts?

- Won the Community Shield
- Won the EFL Cup
- Won the very first UEL Cup
- Became the only team to be “Most Successful Team in England”
- Became the only English team to won all trophies
- Became the only 5th club (2nd English Club) to win all 3 major European trophies (UCL, UEL & CWC)
- Qualified directly into UCL Group Stage

******************************************
THAT DOESN’T MAKE MOURINHO GREAT! MAN UTD FINISHED 6TH
*******************************************
What this means for Mourinho?
- First United manager to win major cup in debut season.
- The last manager to complete double cup in debut season was Pallegrini. Conte might be the next if he wins the FA Cup. (Even UCL winning LVG and Pep struggled – Welcome to EPL)

Finishing 6 justified?
- Should have United give priority to PL tables in last 2 weeks, than UEL, mathematically Man Utd could have finished 4th (with additional 8 points). However, it is only sensible for a manager to prioritize UEL in terms of cups, cash and of course UCL spot. That’s what Liverpool did last year, worth the risk, but could not win the finals.
- If at all JM finished 4th or even 3rd without any cups or just EFL Cup, that would have drew more criticism and back to square one. It was worth the risk, and indeed it was fruitful.

*******************************************
Why bias statement by JM, or even by some of the fans?
*******************************************
Everyone wants to play in UCL, not UEL.
Everyone wants to play in EPL, not Championship.
That doesn’t justify one to disparage the lower tournament, all due respect should be given to all tournament. Hope JM and some of the fans learn their lesson.
Anything can happen to any team, as they say, The Ball is Round… because,

FOOTBALL IS BLOODY HELL!!!
Let’s concentrate on UEFA Super Cup and the new season. Hopefully 5 EPL teams in UCL and bring back the days we saw EPL teams in UCL final 4.
