It was one of those days when I have a battle within myself about
life. After lunch, I was led to read Hebrews 6:19 -- "We have this hope
as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner
sanctuary behind the curtain"
During youth fellowship
activity today, they sang "Captain" by Hillsong United which actually
anchors on this verse and also referenced to the story from Mark
4:35-41. I see that as an assurance from God.
How many
times we choose to "abandon ship" when storms of life hits us, without
thinking that Jesus is the captain of the ship who will take us through
those storms.
I am learning to trust that captain...
