captain power and the soldiers of the future

Anyone remember this show in the 80s called "captain power and the soldiers of the future"...?

When I was a very young kid, I like it, even had their toys. My favourite was their leader.. Captain Power...

Now that when I managed to watch it back, thanks to wonders of downloads, I asked myself why did I like it..I cant even finish the first episode..I literally cringe watching it...

O well, you gotta forgive them for their technology and special effects those days..

O how time changes...
