you have a Death Note..

Recently I get to watch this movie...

I know you readers have watch it long ago. Pity me. Been wanting to watch it but cant until recently. Well, sometimes you cant watch all at the same time.. ><

So, I dun need to go into details what’s the movie about eh? Ok..for those still in the dark..a guy name Light was given a Death Note, who then uses it to kill criminals by writing their name in the Death Note. His action was well-received by the public but not with the police, who then went out to hunt him down.

I like the general idea of the story. What if suddenly we are given such powers and authority? Are we gonna use it for good?

I guess the movie really show us how humans can be greedy when they have such powers. In short, humans want to play God. In the movie itself, you can see how Light got carried away by his gift..to extent of killing “good people” and even his loved one. The movie is a good reminder that no one can be God..there is only one God.

As for the movie itself, I find it interesting. How the plots unfold and how it leads to one another. I guess one need to follow the movie closely or else you get blur on certain parts. I find the narrative part interesting, like how the Death Note was given to Light and how the Death Note can be use.

If rumors are to be believed, Hollywood also plan to adopt this movie. Aiyo. After adopting countless Japanese movies like The Ring, I wonder how this would turn out to be.

Ah..that reminds me. Recently I was walking/lepakking in KL shopping mall, I saw a shop selling Death Note. Seriously, the same like the movie. I was joking with Gavin, who was with me that time, to buy it and go around “killing” people. Lol. Dun get scared..it’s actually a normal note book, note pad but it’s a tie-in from the movie..you know..like Spiderman toys etc. Seriously, tempted to buy and trick people. lol.

So yea, cant wait for the third part of the movie.
