For assignment purposes, yesterday my group assignment visited Popiah pictures. It’s one of the famous local production house and has produced many great local English drama such as Kopitiam and Realiti.
OK..reason on why we were there. For assignment, we suppose to come out with news. Gee..sounds like industrial training again. BUT for assignment purpose. So what we are doing in Popiah Picture is to come out with an Entertainment news. Of course there are other news we have to include beofre that but that we talk later..coz we have to cover a PR event and court case also. Court case? Bummer +_+
How first place we get to sneak into Popiah pictures? One of my group member did her industrial training there so walking inside, to her, is like walking back into her house. Haha. Of course they were informed of our visit.
Well, now you know our assignment never a piece of cake..lotsa ma-fan things involved. But then the good thing is can travel around and see things.

Exploring Popiah Pictures was cool. Saw how their office looks like. Saw how their studio looks like. Saw how the production crew work. Saw how the recording process goes. Mingle with the actor/actress. Sometimes I feel it’s like a field trip instead. Aha.
I like their office a lot. So cool. Is actually those old architecture houses but they refurnish it..making it looks so nice. I would love to have such office.
They are shooting the new local drama series produced by Popiah Pictures. Once it comes out in the local TV screen then I tell la. Haha. I was there to watch their shooting.

We went there to interview Naz..best known for hosting NTV7’s Breakfast show and previously acted in Realiti as some record company manager. Really friendly and funny guy. He is the lead actor for the new drama series.

We also included Cheryl Samad in our interview/news as well. Didnt know she’s small n i felt so tall standing next to her. And yes, we interviewed her in the wardrobe room. Haha.

One of my group members joked that it looks like some pasar malam stall..well..haha..

Bonus..we get to interview Ng Ping Ho the owner/producer/director of Popiah Pictures.

So yea..one for the album..
It was a good experience..especially lepaking there..haha..
