faith building

The Cribs series is back..i mean my version la..previously I featuredmy hostel room..now present you the church I been going for the past 2 years plus in KL…Faith Christian Centre

I know the FCC people will think this is pathetic…considering we are moving out in a months’ time. Haha. So take it as a walk down the memorry lane la…lol...

The church shares the same building as the wedding studio. You open the door and there’s an option of using the lift or the stairs. The lift is very famous to all of us in FCC…even though it said it only can contain 9 people at the same time…sometimes if 5th or 6th person comes in…the alarm rings and it’s the cue for him or her to use the stairs instead. Haha.

Second floor host the church office and also a hangout place.

We have tables, chairs and sofa for hangouts. There is wifi for people or students to do their work there.

The tables. Yes they got it from Ikea. Ikea rocks. Haha.
There are some indoor games to play. Caroms, chess(both international and Chinese) , black&white, cheekers, Risk even UNO.
One of the decos in the second floor.

Earlier this year, the church open an café nicknamed the Faith Café. Is like a coffee corner that most churches would have, just that we have wicked menu such as burgers, hotdogs and special meals at certain week, like nasi lemak, bihon etc etc. You have all sort of drinks from soft drinks to the usual Milo, Coffee 3-in-1 packets.

Spoiler ahead : watchout for this space in the future for another t-cam series..i mean some vids I took..coz I captured Victor Lee making hotdog in the café..

Yes, they served Roti Bakar. I remember last time Pastor mentioned it wrongly..Roti Panggang. Oops. That’s what happen when you translate toast directly from English.

The kitchen.

The café concept been great to the church and probably will be more interesting once we move over to the new building. There is idea to put TV…probably ASTRO as well. Wicked idea rite? Lol.

Now moving on to the third floor where the action takes place. Where the worship session takes place.

The hall actually can packed about 150 seated people I think. The last time I saw the hall really packed out was this year’s combine service. It was freaking packed that more chairs have to be brought up and ushers have to stand.

The sound system corner.

Yamaha drums.
You know..as I was typing this blog, I was reminded that when I first came here 2 years ago, Jon Tse and Eric Ling suggested me to take some pic and tell my Ipoh folks I m alive in KL. Eric Ling lent me his camera to do so. Manage to dig out that CD pic that Eric burned for me…

This picture is dated August 7th 2005. The days before the IKEA tables came...lol..

This what it looks like in my first weekend with FCC..back in August 6th and August 7th 2005. Days when Jon and Eric was around. Days when Desmond and Irene is not married yet. Days when Ah Seng still has a neat short hair. lol.
After looking back at those pic. and compare what’s going on, I really can see God’s blessing upon this church over the years. People come and go, but God’s promises never change. God's grace is never-ending.

To be honest, I m excited about moving to the new building. It signals a new era for FCC. Signals a new dawn, new vision for the church.

FCC expected to move in by Christmas this year.

After an emotional look and tribute, here ends another episode of Tim’s version of MTV Cribs. Hopely I got more building and houses to raid. Haha.

FACTS : some pics were taken on Oct 20 and Nov 17 this year. Some also were taken 2 years ago, August 6th/7th 2005 using Eric Ling’s camera.
