I know there’s no wedding lunch or dinner to do this so..

I love to make a toast here. I know Desmond nearly 2 years ago when I first came to KL for studies. It was Jon Tse who introduced him to me..it started when Jon asked me to come on Tuesday to observe his worship team practice. Well, I argee to go even though I was just 4 days old in KL..i mean i just came to KL for Uni. Jon told me there’ ll be a dude named Desmond will fetch me. So I waited and there he came with his racecar-wannabe-Proton Iswara Aeroback(the modal that look slick like my coursemate’s car I shown few entries ago.) And man, I miss his Proton…heard he rent it to some fella in Nilai..because he has all the rights to drive all the church transport.
So yea, Des played some role in making me settled down here in KL and church.
I only know Flora is his gf like one month later..? I guess so. Even though they been together like a decade. Puik, I was really a quiet dude that time..
Fast forward now, over the years I get to know them better. I always hangout with either one of them, although with Desmond a lot. I guess it would be more fun if this year’s HM camp I was there with him. It seems he told me he had so much fun…he said hanging out with them is like him going back to his hometown. But I think he is best remembered in the camp for being the “terrorist” who “kidnap” ah Tatz during the games session and heroes like Chuan Ian chasing him around the campsite. Haha. Tatz should testify on this statement man.
As with Flora, sometimes I accompany her back to Sunway on Tuesday if I need dropby at the church..and I always remember her for introducing me to Nando-ism..a term we came out after eating Nando’s. Haha. The only memorable outing I have with both of them was..we along with more FCC folks..one big gang..went 1 Utama to lepak/shop.
I think over the years as well we have grown a lot than we first met because of circumstances. Yea, things are so different than we first met. I used to be blurry and quiet with Des...now I love to joke and poke fun with him. Besides, he is been a great advisor and friend to me as well. We always been honest with each other in the ministry, always talk about the ministry and our lives.
Flora too..last time I used to be quiet and blurry with her..then slowly we chat about lotsa stuff..about work..about latest stuff..about music..about whatever it’s under the sun.
They are a great couple. Great friends to me. Thanks a lot for helping me settling down here in KL and FCC. Looking forward to more fun times with you both.
So now, I would say cheers to you both and God bless your marriage.
