last Sept 07 weekend..

My weekend..wow..i would say is the best for the past few weeks of my sem break.

Because I got to experience God’s presence in worship.

Is true that the Bible says..Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand days elsewhere.

Afew times I asked myself if I make the right decision to come home for holidays and this week reminded me that God has His reason for everything in life. Being home reminds me of my humble beginnings..reminds me of my first love for God in the ministry..preparing me mentally and spiritually for greater things ahead in life.

Few times this year I been discouraged over circumstances and etc. God again just remind me how He is always faithful to us no matter what.

Start with Saturday..

Morning I met up with an old fren for makan. Jusco looks different indeed with all the renocation goin on.

When you see this in any shopping mall..you know raya is comin..

Went church early to give tuition..

HM..one of the best things I always love to experience during worship is to hear the sound of the people just singing their hearts out in worship. When that happen, you tend to forget the size of the crowd. 40 plus people can sound like 80 people there. If there is hundred over people, I love to imagine how it sounds like.
I use simple songs yet it was great.

After that..went round took pics while they have their activities..they played the fame tangled up game with a lesson behind it..explained by Tatz.

Bunch of slackers posing...

I find this pic amusing. You see Enoch is disturbing Jeremy in this shot. Way behind is Enoch's mum..oops boy..you are caught in the act for being noti..haha..

Supper time at Tong Sui Kai.. literally means sweet dessert street.

Had a bowl of noodles. Is RM 3 and it’s worth it a lot. Taste good. I never get this good anywhere else. Truly Ipoh is a food haven.

When weather is hot..this always rocks..

I recommend this. They put a huge amount of fruits and other stuffs (jelly, nuts, etc) and it's really worth it..and you could get easily satisfied and full after eating this.

Halfway thru the supper, West Diocese Bishop Ng, former SPC pastor, came with his family. Kinda surprise to see him there and sometimes when I meet him, it just blows my mind off to think he is now a Bishop. Still the same happening and friendly person he is. Is exciting to think the direction of the Anglican West Diocesean church is going with him at helm..

Reach home..it seems my small bro invited his good fren Deacon for overnite slubber party at my home. Yea babysitting Deacon. Haha.

Sunday

It was 2nd service 7th anniversary. The hall was full. The atmosphere was awesome even tho we were doing it in a small hall. Haha.

Some people preparing for the service in the church office..

For people to leave their mark behind. See on the left page of the paper. Is my lousy signature.haha.

Some people took my camera and attempted to trick me with lesbian shots. Hey that failed terribly ok...haha..

For the event..they decorated the hall..

Jenny Woo..one of the guitarist..

I always enjoy watching JJ setting up his drums whenever he plays..if you notice, he added an extra hi-hat on the left and added a few cymbals. That is far cry from 2 years ago, when I jam with him, he added another drum bass and few more cymbals. Wicked or what.

The event started with a hip-hop dance presentation. For a small kid, AunJian pull it off well. I heard recently he won some hip-hop competition in Ipoh few weeks ago.

Yea..Kelvin/Sandy’s idea of getting a “future band” to play a song managed to be materialized. I thought the idea was fun. Basically getting some 12 year old kids to jam along. Deacon played drums and Enoch on keyboards. Then my small bro, Amanda Soon and Amy Loi as singers.

It was cool but of coz the kids were shy while singing. The small kid on drums rocks. Haha. It was fun.

The crowd...

The worship session..

Praying for those taking PMR. I joked with YeeWan saying that they should be getting double blessing as a night earlier at HM, SoonYew also prayed for them. Orginally supposed to get Ps.Nick to pray but he wasnt there..so the good old Youth Advisor have to do it again. haha.

My dad preached and his message really spoke to me. Is about dare to dream again. Past few months I been battling with discouragement and my dad preached a good sermon based on the story on Hannah in 1 Samuel. I felt God really spoke to me.

The theme for the day is based on Hillsong track..You are faithful (from their Saviour King album). Truly no matter who we are and where we are from..I just wanna encourage you guys by saying God is indeed faithful to us no matter what circumstance we are in. Many times we might want to give up but God never give up on us.

Overall it was an awesome day. everyone felt blessed and to see how everyone encouraged in other for job well done is just great. Praise God. Really thank God for making it awesome.

God’s been good. I felt so refreshed.

Despite all the fun in Ipoh, I just wanna say to my FCC frens..hey guys..i do miss u all a lot as well..and I cant wait to see u guys again soon. I m excited to be coming back to KL and cant wait to be working with you guys again in the ministry.

Wanted to post a video of Tatz during icebreaker but duno why the uploading screwed up..so tatz u are lucky..

anyway it was great weekend. because of You God.   :)
