MCU Phase 4 has been a mixed bag.. *cough* Thor 4 was overhyped.. but Wakanda Forever is top 3 in the Phase 4.
The movie is among the longest MCU movies but it has its reasons. Personally, as the movie went on, it didn't feel that long.
It was an emotional-driven movie. The tribute to Chadwick was
beautiful, and reminded me a bit of how the Fast franchise did it for
Paul Walker.
There were a few surprises in the movie that probably will get MCU fans' attention and Namor said his iconic quote. In fact,
being a Marvel comic fan and reading about his character in the comics,
I was actually pleased to finally see him onscreen, after years of
rumours about trying to put him into MCU
It was fitting end to Phase 4 before things get more
crazier in Phase 5. You can say Phase 4 is about the MCU recovering
from post-Snap life (and us recovering from Covid life)
Only 1 mid-credit scene, so once that is done.. you can leave to clear your bladder
Personally, rating it 8/10
"Only the most broken people can be great leaders,” -- Namor
that quote. wow. as deep as the oceans.
