The poetry books of the Scripture — like Job, Psalms, Proverbs,
Ecclesiastes and the Songs of Solomon — always fascinates me because it
captures the emotions of human beings. While acknowledging the ups and
downs of life, the joy and the pain that human goes through, it still
points back to who God is – source of hope and life.
These books especially Psalms are written to awaken and express and shape the emotional life. This is spiritual inspiration for #TLjournalEP
The
songs here written in spectrum of life journey, thus the title “𝐭𝐡𝐞
𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥”. Being a man that wears many hats (a son, a husband, a
citizen, a friend, a pastor, a worship leader, a songwriter), I’ve
encountered every aspect of life which I hope to capture in this EP.
