11 years of THIS ROAD

𝟎𝟗𝟎𝟗𝟎𝟗 was significant in my life because it was the day that my first album, 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃 was released!⁣

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘 it is 𝟏𝟏 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝!!⁣

I can still recall the feeling as though it happened yesterday. It was also a Wednesday and I remember that I was trying to grasp the reality of that day. Family and friends came to witness that historic day. At times, I feel embarrassed by everything, as young as I was that time but it humbles me to receive all the love and support from everyone. For that, I have never taken things for granted till today.⁣

I will never forget the journey of making this album. From the moment that I agreed with @sijonbah to do this, all the flights that I have to take to Kota Kinabalu to record my vocals (when his studio is still new), the recording process, getting the CDs printed, the promotions that I have to think of (especially social media field was slowly gaining momentum) and planning the release. Crazy times.⁣
⁣
It was a grueling process and there were days that I wondered why I put myself through those times. While it was tiring, it was an experience that made me a better person. I never thought all of this was possible but as every year I celebrate its anniversary release, I am reminded of God's blessings and everyone's support. ⁣
⁣
This album has impacted many people over the years and certainly it does to me in many ways. To think that my new EP is in the midst of 'brewing'... well, it all started from this day. That's why it's significant. ⁣

What a journey so far! Thank you for your never-ending support and love. ⁣

Certainly, we all can look forward to greater things ahead!! 🙂 ⁣
