Perhaps these days, people define successful season as trophy-laden season but 3 semis and 3rd placing sounds that MU is "nearly" there, however, not good enough. It feels like B+ effort because they just needed some edge to go over the finish line. Well, this exposes the fact that squad depth is very much needed so i guess now the attention is to the transfer market now.
But, it's crazy to think that MU have played 61 games this season, in what it seems like football matches comes thick and fast. You can just feel that towards the end, the matches have taken its toil on the players' fitness and mentality.
There are a few items to celebrate :- a lot of young players coming up (Brandon Williams was a great pick), Bruno have been a gem, some great MU goals and Pogba seems to be happy to be at MU.
On personal side, this season will forever stuck in my mind because I got to watch them in person at OT back in Oct2019. Just disappointed no trophy from this season to make it more sweeter. O well, that's life.
well, new season is not too
far away though. I guess time being, it's a breather before a new season
of football banters comes up again.
well, Rome is not build in one day.
GGMU!
