Yesterday
during the gig, I got a bit preachy and I thought I needed to say it
aloud. So, I told the crowd no matter what belief or faith we all have,
let’s all pray for our country for peace and also on this virus
situation. And I got the biggest cheers and claps. Probably the best
moment I have as a Malaysian.
Probably that’s what we need to hear. Speak life, speak with love, less hate, less negativity. Stop spreading lies and fear. Don’t let bigots tear us apart. Live with faith, hope and love no matter who we are.
Someone again told me today, “thank you for your music & positive vibes. Yea, f**k negativity man. Keep it up” I wish I can say this all the time but I know people won't like it if I am vulgar but truth is.. the world do need more positivity than negativity. So yea.
A lot of things in the gig encouraged me. It’s been a tough day.. week n even months.
Thank You God for this & I hope it push me a little, step by step.. to live each day
