day 76 of 2020

To be honest, when the church got the instructions to suspend the services, part of me feel sad as it means no fellowship/church worship even in such trying period. I didn’t sleep peacefully that Friday night and part of me feel regretful for telling everyone to put everything to a pause. It was a tough call to make together with the senior pastor/rector.

As the past 48 hours unfolded, I thank God we made that choice & had wisdom‬

‪Times like these made us truly understand who God is and what the church is all about. I do need prayers for wisdom & strength to continue to lead the ministry in such days, along with my wife, leaders, the staff team and the FCC rector‬. Spare a thought and prayers for other churches as well and those in medical fields

‪Meanwhile, it’s really upsetting and worrying to see the national response to the covid-19 situation. I can only pray that whatever happens in days to come, may God watch over us and may His mercy be upon us

‪I usually pray this with the congregation weekly - “Lord, grant us strength for today, hope for tomorrow and days to come, and peace that surpasses all understanding keep our hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of Christ”

‪I do realize how powerful are those words in such times.

‪Be safe and keep praying as prayers are very important right now.

May God be with us‬ all.
