With the many thoughts running through my mind while looking at all the year-end notes that I posted over the years (thanks to FB), part of me still pondering what to say.
Partly because of my mind is a bit cloudy, thanks to sick bug I got over the weekend. It was a weird situation.. honestly I caught it before the Saturday service, so basically I was preaching through the day with a sick bug and survived. Promptly after the service, my body said I gotta go home and my fever temperature actually shot up quite high. I nearly wanted to arrange for replacement for Sunday worship leading but after a good rest and medication, I woke up feeling better and managed to survive the Sunday service.. then after the service, I lost my voice. So now I am talking like a monotonous man.. and not quite sure how I am gonna sound for prayer meeting tonight.. hahaha
Okay, enough of that weekend drama.
Today, I was hearing testimonies about how the youths' life in FAA have been impacted over the years and I give glory to God for that. Well, that is among the many bright spots of 2019 despite the emotional roller-coaster that I've been going through. Definitely there are a lot of unseen tears, frustrations, tiredness and anger through out 2019, but for all that,
I think there's plenty of wonderful testimonies to give thanks for.
Of course, graduating from SPTC, going to UK (especially to Old Trafford) and releasing two new singles were definitely the standout memories for me in 2019.
But it's always the small
(or should I say, the unseen)
successes that means a lot because it pushes you to look forward to live each day.
Let me say this.. never compare your successes to anyone, appreciate the victories that you have, doesn't matter if it is big or small. In fact, the moment you opened your eyes to a new day and breathing air, is a victory.
Like I said over the weekend.. it's always His grace that brings us to where we are today, and it will be His grace that brings us onwards.
Looking forward to 2020. I honestly can't believe that I've live this long to see this number.
God is good.
God is good.
And thank you to everyone for making 2019 awesome.
Cheers.
