day 226 of 2019

Lately, some folks have been making the headlines due to their statements.

I have been standing on the sidelines while watching everyone throwing their opinions about what has happened and sounded as though they are experts, well.. time for me to say something la then I go back sitting at the sidelines again.

Journey of faith is always ups & downs and I know it first hand. Even right now in my head, I am wrestling with a few thoughts.

What annoyed me over the years is we always want to look for scapegoats for the things that has happened. "Oh, he/she is not holy". "go findout why he/she left" .. all this should stop. Stop standing on top of the table and point fingers. Instead, please look at the mirror. All this judging should stop. It doesn't matter what you believe in. If we are not re-evaluating ourselves whether we are living rightly for God and for one other, then no amount of conferences can save you la, sorry to say.

Just pray for one another, I would say. Pray for your pastors, leaders, family and friends. Spend time with them and care for them genuinely. Stop putting them on pedestal and expect them to be someone you imagine them to be (as Skillet's John Cooper said)

To those who are struggling with the truth, know that you are not alone. Look at the Scriptures, there are plenty of imperfect folks who can't make sense of what's going on. We are all in this journey together so hang on and stay strong.

Social media is always an ugly place when people judge you for what they see or read. It's okay, let those who genuinely cares for you, and God above it all, tell you who you are.

Cheers.
