Day 221 of 2019

"It is better to remain silent at the risk of being thought a fool, than to talk and remove all doubt of it.”  ― Maurice Switzer, Mrs. Goose, Her Book

For past few months or even years, I've kept my silent on a lot of things around me, be it ministry or things in general. While sometimes it takes its toil on me and people may question such wisdom, silence doesn't mean I don't care or ignorant.

My wife once told me to speak up against matters mentioned above and tbh, it's easy to say and done. In fact, I occasionally do and I can pull out many cases that falls into that category but here's the thing : no one wants to listen because they already have a set thoughts about it or think that they are always right.

So why waste energy and saliva on people who refused to change? That's why sometimes I don't want to say too much and sometimes it's wise to do so. No point wasting time to win an argument when it just sap away your energy

Ecclesiastes 3:7 A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak
