#TL2018moviewatch : CrazyRichAsians

 

Although the movie is Hollywood-produced, about higher class folks & being at singapore, somehow #CrazyRichAsiansMovie makes me feel at home, in terms of the comedy and emotions, especially some scenes really hits you because you know how it feels to grow up (or live) in an Asian environment. I guess seeing some Malaysian faces in it also makes you feel connected to the movie too.

The actors were brilliant, i enjoyed their performances. It’s so fun to spot the familiar Asian faces in there.

I am just annoyed some British accent is quite thick for some characters. It does look awkward when that person is placed next to "Manglish"-kind of conversation.

Really enjoyed the movie. Just as Black Panther has hit the hearts of the African people, this movie does the same for Asian communities around the world. We do need movies like these - those cultural-theme movies
