grace

what does grace means?

To me, grace is getting or experience something that you don't deserve. 

Few times when i do my devotion or working in the office, sometimes i thank God for one thing..His grace. 

Indeed He has a plan for everyone. There are times i tend to have questions in my mind like, "God, what are You doing with me? Why You put me in this position? I feel so inadequate sometimes. Do lead people, to do some things for You, etc etc. Why I m placed here? "

That's why reading the Bible so important for it contains God's promises and even give good example of people who ironically was in such circumstances. Example, Moses..he thought he was inadequate to lead God's people out of Egypt. King David, once he was a young boy, was told to slay down a giant..oh well, i can go on and on..

There are times i could give up and say enough is enough. But God has always been my pillar of strength and sometimes it does amazes me how today i can still at where i am. His grace puts me where i am. 

When i composed my song, Lost in love(amazing grace), this is one of the thought that came to me. I admit without Him, my life is very meaningless. I mean, we could have be in condemnation, but God has a purpose in our lives. As i think back my life for the past 20 over years, i know God do really have purpose in me and i believe the same can be said to everyone else in the world. We are imperfect in many ways but it doesnt stop Him from loving and using us.

I remember i had this conversation with a few friends few weeks ago about our life. Think of all the stages of life we go though. Born into this world, ya, all of us were kids running around, then getting education, then start work, know people, then start courtship and get married, then get kids, then retire. It's amazing how each stage of our life unfolds. But at the end of the day, i feel it is all empty without God in it. Think about it, if i m a rich guy, married with the most beautiful woman in the world, have a great family, successful career but if i don't have God, it's meaningless. 

  

Just sharing and giving my thoughts. 

Thank You God for Your grace and Your love. Thank You for giving people in my life. Thank You for reminding me how much You cared. I pray You will be with me despite the storms, the trials and even good times.
