God the protecter

It occured on Thurs. Around 4.10 onwards. Me and my collegues, Lafir, Kitt, HuiLing was in a car, travelling somewhere in Sunway, near our office. If anyone know our place well, there are lotsa cars and workshops. 4 of us, were poking fun at each other, crapping. Then Lafir who was driving, was turning into a lane, and that lane we turn into..we are really sure it was a one-way street. The moment we turn, a full-speed Kancil came towards us. Feeling surpise, we manage to avoid that Kancil and the moment we stabilize the car back to the usual route, a taxi came out and bang rite at us at the driver's door.

The damage was minimal. Thank God. The damage part of the car we sat was at the driver's door. The taxi meanwhile suffered damage on its headlights. Nothing more also. Well, both are Proton cars btw. haha.

The first few seconds of the accident, I was little shocked. I guess all of us in the car too. But duno why we are really calm. I came out with Lafir to look at the damages with the taxi driver, knowing we are actually at the right lane and if there's any arguement, we are not wrong. Moreover, the two ladies in the car can still smile and be calm. lol. At the same time, the place of the accident was next to a car workshop and ya, a mechanic who happen to be puffing around the area saw it and came in to be the third party/negotiater.

Thank God everything was fine. The taxi driver was humble enough to admit he was wrong and offered to pay the damages. There wasnt any heated arguement..more of a peaceful settlement. When i went to check on the two ladies, we still can afford to poke fun at each other. So true of that song.."with Christ in the vessel we can smile at the storm.."

After things were settled, we four actually discussed and debated about the whole event. Firstly, i felt that we were lucky that the taxi bang us instead of the Kancil. If the Kancil crashed into us, I think we could suffered more damages than the actual one we experience. Then Lafir shared that actually the damage door was faulty and he was thinking of asking the office whether we can repair it. I guess after this, it's confirmed we have to replace it..moreover, someone gonna pay for it. haha. He said it's like a blessing in disguise. After point that Kitt brought out was perhaps it's like a wakeup call that things do happen when we are doing things for God.

HuiLing brought up a good one. Thank God He protected the four of us or else...the boss is left with 2 workers. haha. HuiLing told me she brought up this point to the Chinese worship team on that Thurs nite and they laugh..with the boss that time burying his face into his hands. haha.
But seriously, God knows our mission/task is not done yet..although i know it wasnt a real serious accident but you cant take some things for granted.

I kinda worry abit if the accident traumatize us..but i m glad all of us realize that we should not be afriad but move forward, not letting such things affect us.

Sometimes God let things happen for a reason..perhaps to remind us..perhaps to open our eyes to the bigger picture around us..pray hard and never stumble..stay strong no matter what storms hit us..

but in short, thank God for He is the ultimate protecter.
