haha..

anyway..i have watched one of the most participated movie of the year...

I m a big Marvel comics fan..moreover, i m always interested when the comics are being adopted into the big screen..

Personally, i felt it was one of the best Marvel comic adopation movie. It manage to captured the basic element of the comic even though the time setting was in the present time. The special effects were amazing especially how Tony Stark puts on his armour and his computer..it just crazy.

Robert Downey Jr. fitted in his role as Tony Stark perfectly. When Stark came out with his red-gold Iron Man suit, woo..it just so cool..
Other characters meanwhile did equally well in their roles. Kudos to Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Story-wise, yea it was good, though my friends who were watching me thought told me it look as though the movie could go on and on.. haha..

A few facts i like to share about Iron Man..from a fan point of view..and it could be a spoiler..haha..

* i think some may know and some may not know that Iron Man is actually the first ever Marvel comic movie to be produced entirely under the newly-formed Marvel movie studio. Previously, they sold their rights to big studios to produce the movie. (eg Spiderman, X-Men). In my opinion, i dont blame them starting their own movie studio..they can control the ideas 100% and gain the profit as much as possible too. Then to avoid movie being mis-adopted, best example would be Ang Lee's the Hulk.

* Rhodes (played by Terrence Howard) will be wearing the black suit version of Iron Man..but under a different codename which i forgot now.haha.The movie tease this fact..Rhodes nearly wore a prototype suit of Tony's Iron Man but decided to try it next time.

* Marvel fans would be familiar with the group, S.H.I.E.L.D . In fact, in this movie, the group is mentioned and introduced to Hollywood. I m surpised once the movie was promoted, Nick Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D was not included in the movie because i heard early rumours that he will be in the movie.

* As usually, the big brains behind Marvel comics, Stan Lee makes his usual cameo in any Marvel movies. This time, his cameo role is a rich old man mistaken by Tony Stark as the boss of Playboy.

*I read rumours that Robert Downey Jr would appear as a cameo in another Marvel movie this year, Incredible Hulk, probably as Tony Stark as well. True or not, we will see.

After watching this, I feel it's gonna mark the wave of blockbuster movies coming to cinema..i be looking forward to plenty more..from narnia to IndieJones to Hulk to Batman..to more perhaps..haha..
