I was cleaning my room recently… and I found these lyrics sheet.. those were the days when it’s all things are tangible instead of online or digitalized.

Yup, times have changed, where there’s plenty of tools to aid the songwriting and production process.

Nevertheless, I am just grateful and appreciative of every part of the journey that I’ve been through

Quite appropriate these sheets are found on the month where the first album turns 17 years old. Recognized these songs?

Managed to try the most discussed shop in recent times.

I admit I haven’t try authentic ayam gepuk before. I understand this is just Ming’s interpretation…

Still, i think it’s not bad. I love that the fried batter (for chicken and mushroom) is not thick. Sambal is spicy, probably it’s something that some of you might need to take note.. coz it’s a preference thing.

The “lemak” rice is not heavy.. which is good so you can enjoy the every part of the plate better. Read somewhere that they adjusted the “heaviness” after their pop-up stint.

That drink is the best thing of the night.. so refreshing after all the meal.

I don’t mind trying again. Probably after the crowd starts to lessen up…

Like I said, i haven’t try authentic version before so I don’t wanna say too much but I appreciate Ming Chun for providing a clean and comfortable place to dine while enjoying ayam gepuk

17 years of THIS ROAD

Happy 17 years to the firstborn of all the music releases of mine. Thank you for shaping and making me into the man that I am today.

Anniversary is always an opportunity to be thankful and a platform to look forward to the future. While I have said a lot about it for past 17 years, just want to say I am thankful for everyone involved... from family to Si Jon to friends in KL & Ipoh...
