Me and LukeMunns
It’s a dream come true for me
I met my hero @luke.munns who was the OG drummer for @hillsongunited (and some Hillsong albums) and currently heading @thelukasbandI grew up listening to his awesome groove on songs like “One Way”. In fact, the early days of HillsongUnited influenced my life and music a lot. Also, I am a huge fan of Lukas band and been following his music/work over the years. One of the best in Australia.
To meet and chat with him was a blessing indeed. Thank you for taking a very short time off your busy schedule to meet and chat. Hopefully we can catch up again and perhaps work together.
May your time here in Malaysia is a blessed and fruitful one.

day 313 of 2023
With life full of uncertainty, I think it's important that I count my blessings.. so... here are some lately...
1) Over the weekend, I bought something from a friend. Not a perfect one, but I guess it's God's blessings as it is something I been praying. Hope this will keep me going for few years2) Recently a music publisher reached out to me and willing to support and protect my music works. After listening and discussing with them, I agreed the deal because really, I need all the help that I can get to protect my music work, since I have put my energy in it.. and I need mental strength and encouragement to get through in getting those details/formalities done.
3) If I could travel back to 15-16 years ago and tell the early 20s me that I will be writing songs with Altered Frequency lead singer Andy Yeoh, i will probably say that’s crazy
I like what we co-wrote and. looking forward to more sessions like this. Hopefully some of these songs can be reality for all to hear. Something to give thanks today, and not taking this for granted
4) The church contractor decided to bless us staff some durians. I have been hoping to eat durians like straight from the fruit, not market-packed. Another prayer answered
5) Got a surprise message from a Thai shop that me and wifey enjoyed eating. They giving us offer of enjoying their new menu with 50%. Just wow.
6) Recently, there were a few new Indian food shops near my house and I picked this Northern Indian food one — @masalagrillcuisinesubangjaya
What makes the experience better is their service is top notch. Friendly and honest.
I felt as though I was hanging out with my family there. Definitely will be there whenever I have Indian food cravings
7) Gonna watch The Marvels today...

Fair to say almost all are prayers answered, and indeed God is good.

This round, I actually was more "involved" in doing the groundwork. You can say I am quite "relief" once it's done. hahaha.
But seriously and personally I am blessed to hear all the songs in the "UnHeard 2" today. All were so good and it wasn't easy to pick a winner.

MD-cam

I always wanted to do this kind of clip.. so here is it 😁
Sometimes I do a bit of MD-ing (music director) too, apart from singing.
The video is taken straight from FCC YouTube live. Audio may not be ideal but I hope it's alright for everyone. In fact, I kinda mixed it with my live capture (via hp) and the video mix (from YT).
I didn't want to record the whole session, so I can focus on the whole worship session, but at least, I just give everyone a glimpse of life onstage.
This MD role actually requires preparation and personally, I am still learning how to be a good one.
Anyway, just wanna take this opportunity to say I am always grateful for everyone that serves on the weekend, whichever role you are in. Ya all are champs.
